So, what do YOU think? Will a company ever arise and build a production vehicle similar to the Persu Hybrid or the Carver? This is the vehicle I fell in love with over 3 years ago, with the promise of it's release by 2008, then 2009, and now.... ??? I am not one to lose hope, really. But I am now wondering if this dream of owning a vehicle like this will ever come true. Is there ANY company out there willing to take a risk? Are there any wealthy people in this country willing to back a company like Persu and produce this dream ride? Although my enthusiasm has waned over the years, I still have a glimmer of hope that we WILL see this vehicle on the roads some day.

What do you think? Please be honest, and feel free to share exactly how you feel.

I know this may be a bit "off topic" for our club, but I thought I would share this with all the members anyway, since nothing else has been going on around here lately!

I've been working with the worlds first rocketbelt pilot (Harold Graham) for the past year developing a Limited Edition Bronze Statue. This statue commemorates the rocketbelt flight that he did in front of President Kennedy back in October of 1961. At that time, the rocketbelt was being considered for the military, and the president was the first to see it before going public.

Anyway, this statue commemorates this historic event. Unfortunately, Harold Graham passed away a couple months before this project finally got completed, but we continued with it until we have the finished work of art.

Well, we've been through a lot together over the past couple years, and we're still here "holding down the fort" until we see our dream vehicle come to market. I don't personally know what 2010 holds in store for the Persu Hybrid, but I do know that whatever happens, we will be here to report it and talk about it.

I want to express my thanks to all of you who have stuck with the club through thick and thin. With Persu Mobility reorganizing, hopefully we will be hearing and seeing a lot more from them in this new year.

I pray you all have a HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.

    Sincerely,

Well, another year has passed, and we are still here waiting for our "Dream Vehicle" to come to light. It's been a very long couple years so far, but hopefully 2010 will bring some exciting news to all of us.

I WISH EVERYBODY A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!

    Sincerely, Derwin
