    We Fly the Road

    Hello,

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I admit to being somewhat fearful about introducing myself. I've only been a lurker for the past few months. But in that time, I've watched a group of enthusiasts go through all the stages of death regarding the Persu V3. I expected you to disband. Instead, you're still here.

I'd like to say that I've also been impressed with Derwin's leadership, as well as his measured decision to give up on Persu's take of an FTR vehicle, but never to give up on those that have made this club worth maintaining.

e-Carver Wants a Piece of the Tesla Roadster

As we know, this vehicle is now called the Lynx e-Swing and g-Swing, for the electric and gas models. The below article is from 2011.

The original two-seat Carver One was built on a steel chassis, 5-speed manual, and 660 cc turbocharged Daihatsu engine worth 68 bhp. Eco-friendly city dwellers are always searching for the perfect mode of transportation that is safe, fast, small, and efficient. French entrepreneur Eric Prose and his green manufacturing company, SynergEthic may have found the solution with an amazing new electric vehicle called the Tilter. Part motorcycle, part covered car, this all-electric zero-emission three-wheeler will certainly turn heads as it rolls down the rues of Paris.

Under its neon colored encasement the Tilter boasts tons of features similar to a motorbike. The seats are arranged in a single line and they

Lit Motors test drives self-balancing electric moto

Electric vehicle startup Lit Motors unveiled a working concept of what could be the answer to a conventional motorcycle's biggest drawbacks: one, tipping over, and two, the road rash and laundry list of other ills you could incur if it does. A YouTube video the company released shows an electric two-wheeled vehicle cruising along San Francisco streets. Rather than straddling a chassis, the driver rides recumbent and is enclosed in a protective metal shell. But what sets the Lit Motors C1 apart from other electric vehicles is its capability to stay upright at ...

Elio Motors will invest more than $100 million to assemble and manufacture 3-wheel vehicles at the former General Motors plant in Shreveport, Louisiana, creating an estimated 1,500 jobs by late 2015. Its facility will occupy approximately 1-million square feet of the more than 3-million square foot former GM plant site. Industrial developer Stuart Lichter, who has acquired other former GM sites, will buy the 530-acre Shreveport site in conjunction with Elio Motors and lease portions of the site to other tenants. Elio is purchasing the GM plant from the Revitalizing Auto Communities Environment...
