Q: Will it have Air Conditioning?
AC and Heat are standard features.
Q: How much Cargo Space?
The back seat will be designed to fold down and provide a flat cargo area, large enough to hold 'six bags of groceries'. There is a cargo shelf behind the rear passenger seat that should be able to hold a large book bag. A rooftop cargo box may be offered as an option, shaped to provide a minimal disruption to vehicle aerodynamics, and should hold about 5 cubic feet.
Q: What about towing a trailer?
A number of potential customers have asked for a trailer hitch receiver to be included in the rear frame design, and this is being investigated. Towing capability would be extremely limited, but a small motorcycle trailer should be feasible.
Q: Can I get HID headlights?
The V1 is expected to use HID headlights and high intensity LEDs for other lights.
Q: What safety features are planned?
Safety features are described on the Venture Vehicles website here (http://www.flytheroad.com/safety.html) and include the following: safety roll cage, standard 3-point seat belts, side impact rails, and a driver’s airbag.
Q: Will it have a special tilting cup holder?
It won't need one. The V1's tilt while turning is designed to match the lateral forces created by turning. From the perspective of an object within the cockpit, everything stays level all the time. However, speeding up and slowing down create a forwards/backwards acceleration, so a normal auto spill-proof cup is still a good idea.
