Ok just for the heck of it I thought I would ask, When you get your V1 will you give it a name and if so what name would you give it?
I have named many of my rides in the past, I know, it sounds corney but I have had very few problems with cars I name compared to those I don't. Now I haven't quite figured out what I will name My V1 yet but I recently found a name for my Toyota MR2 - "Katsumi" it means: Victorious Beauty! Anyway, I got to thinking about the V1 and wondered if anyone had some thoughts?
Also just out of curiousity what do you think of the name for my MR2?

Sorry I don't name my vehicles ... I put on a creative license plate and with the V1 I will put pilot /copilot names under the windows.

Well I'm not sure if i'm gonna buy a venture or dagne ..... but either way i'll call it "pat"
could go either way right ?
I'll probably buy the dagne, i'm in utah and they'll sell one to me as where venture will not .!

I'll tell you what, if Venture Vehicles does not allow those from "out of state" to purchase one, then it will definately be a Dagne for me also. But I don't think Venture Vehicles has determined yet what they will be doing in regards to that, at least not that we know about.

Derwin, they clearly stated that for the first year, they'd be selling them in CA only, just like Aptera.
Of course, I suppose that, like everything else, it's subject to change, but AFAIK that was the last word on the subject.
And I'm beginning to think they should name it the Edsel.....

Hey, RAN, the Edsel was a great car! j:o"k'e)
But, seriously, I thought the last we heard was that Ian and the team had not come to a final decision on that yet. Can you point me to the post that stated this? I must have missed it.

Wow. Zero to off-topic in four posts. Must be a new record.
Vehicles are always 'shes', I think that's a law or something. I've only had one vehicle I named, Vanessa Starship. Stupid name, but I was young. If I get attached to my V1 (and I'm sure I will), she'll get a name, too. But I'm going to have to drive her for a while before a name comes to mind. I'll have to consider what color I chose, how she handles, her quirks, how she makes me feel.
That, and my wife has veto authority. We'll probably play what we call the name game. We've adopted many pet rats over the years (you read that correctly). And for several days afterword, each of us will randomly blurt out, "How about, [name]"? In the middle of dinner, in the middle of a favorite show, during a heated political debate, it doesn't matter. Eventually one of us says a name and the other one says, "Perfect!" and our new rodent baby has a name. I'm sure our V1 will have to go nameless for weeks.
Although... I'm partial to Eileen.
