Hiya...

I WAS a member of the forum and only had a dozen or so posts but it looks like my login was deleted... probably due to lack of use.

Anyway, I re-upped because the flytheroad.com website has changed with a new fancy color-changing Persu on the front dubbed "V3" and a new interest form is available for people to fill out and submit.

Is Persu still alive? The older forum posts say no but they are all dated 2010. Can someone break down the chain of events so far with this crazy startup so a dreamer like me will understand?

I remember seeing the GM Lean Machine at EPCOT Center in Florida as a kid and thought it was the coolest thing. I now have a motorcycle and the dough to spend on my dream trike. If they build it... and build it RIGHT... then I'm buying!

(Also, I had trouble selecting "CA" as my state in the interest form. Had to choose "OR" instead just to submit. Oh well.)

As for your original membership... We do not "delete" members here at the club (unless they were spammers or troublemakers!). Your original membership username should still be in our system. What did you use for your username when you originally signed up? I checked arnette already, and only your recent one pops up, so you must have had a different username. If you can supply me with that, or the email address you previously used, I'll be able to find your original account and reset your password.

No, flytheroadclub is what I meant. Honestly, I can't for the life of me recall my original login but it only had ~8 posts associated with it so it's no big loss. I'm off to read the linked thread. I'll edit this post with my thoughts on the matter!

Looks like I missed the big announcement and the website launch when it first happened but it's good there are now more believable loose date to mark on the calendar. It will be nice when Venture releases hard specs and an interior mockup. I'm wondering what fit/finish is going to be like, wind noise, road noise, etc. And of course, hp/torque, stopping power, control scheme (auto or manual) and luggage space. I know Carver has info on this but I'm wondering if the Persu will be much different.

Yeah, I've already searched the email that is registered, along with the ip address, and I can't find any other user other than "arnette".

If this person did have another membership, then they used a different email address and had a different ip address.

No big deal, though.
