Actually, its an Italian Benelli Adiva convertible scooter. They 'sold' the design to China who make the Baron and Tank versions of this 2-wheel scooter that the roof section folds, and stows in the rear 'trunk', whereas Derwin's VogueOne has 3-wheels and a 'fixed' roof.

Well, I actually intend on carrying the convertible scooter sometime in the coming months. Here's a couple pictures:

I think these are pretty cool. But we'll see. I'm going to order some sample units just to test out the quality.

Hmmmmm. Come to think of it, this conversation really belongs in the OTHER forum. I won't be commenting on it here anymore. Just want to keep things clean!

MM89..... Go to www.FlyTheRoadNow.com
There are actually 2 sites within that domain. One is the forum, and the other is a site for the sale of the VogueOne.
Thanks.

According to the article that I 'linked', Benelli originally came out with the Adiva in 125cc but recently 'upgraded' to 250cc. I believe the Baron and Tank versions are 150cc, and the Diamo Velux has both a 150cc and 250cc model. Piaggio (3-wheel 'tilter' [2F1R]) does have 400-500cc scooters, but not 'convertible'.

I need at least 250cc but I like the piaggio I am just not ready to pay $8,699.00 for a 400cc when I can get a 650 Burgman for that price!

Well the European/Asian scooter market has different 'user needs' than the States. Many large congested cities, high fuel prices (we're catching up), and few requirements for longer 'road trips'. The Venture Vehicle V~1 seems like a very good choice for an American 'Cycle'; just hope they don't price it out of my reach.

I am considering getting the Piaggio MP3 500 again, but the price is just way to high for a scooter. It would come to around $10,000 when all is said and done. I really don't think it's worth it. I'm having doubts again about the Spyder SE5, but I may just stick with it.
As far as the scooter that we will be selling. They have 150cc models, as well as 250cc models. I'm still deciding which to make available. Which do you think would sell better? Here are a couple more pics:
This one is a convertible with the roof down

Here is a similar model with the roof up

I know....I said I wouldn't discuss this here anymore. Sorry! :o I just figured I would answer MM89's question. If you need anymore information about this, or want to talk about it, please go to the other site.

I used to own a 250cc Honda Reflex. If I was to downsize from my current Honda Silverwing, 250cc is probably the size I'd pick, and the roof would be nice protection from those afternoon thundershowers. (I got very soaked coming home Sunday)
