Congratulation to our 300th member of this club:
rexscates
We just started a few short months ago, and we are already at over 300 members. I know that this club will continue to grow as we get closer to Venture Vehicle completing the project. I also know that we will be adding features and benefits to this club for the enjoyment of all members.
Can you even believe it? 300 members. I am really excited about this!
I am going to send our 300th member a set of club logo coffee mugs free of charge. Please add YOUR welcome to mine to our newest member.
Thanks.
Derwin

here is the message i got :)
Hello and welcome to the FlyTheRoad Club! Congratulations on being the
300th Member of our motely crew of enthusiasts.
As a way to THANK YOU for your membership, and congratulate you on being
our 300th member, I would like to send you a set of our club logo coffee
mugs FREE OF CHARGE. All I need is your name and mailing address, and I'll
get your prize to you by USPS Priority mail.
Thanks again for joining. I hope you enjoy the club.
thanks and I am happy to be part of your group. I hope that they make this available soon as I want one.
last fall I was Diagnosed with a brain tumor (a good one if you have one, pure oliodendroglioma with genetic deletions) elected not to do surgery and have been taking chemo. I am doing great. (crosses fingers we shall see in 5-7 years)
back to the real reason I want one. I teach science (middle school) and I drive a 34 mpg scion XB but want better gas mileage. I was looking at a piaggio MP3 but saw these and would rather have this concept. I influence many peoples future and like to demonstrate what I teach. I am not some hippy green revolutionary but a realistic person that wants to promote these ideals I teach in my class. This vehicle is a logical step many people can make and I want to make it with many of you.
so here I am.
Plus it would teach my kids a good concept in that you can all do something to help allow the world to last until you get a good source of reliable sustainable energy. (fusion power hopefully) but that wont be around for 50+ years and until then we need innovative products like this to get us there.
FYI i started a car club that in its peak had over 3000 members so I may be of help as we grow.

Rex Scates,
I want to officially WELCOME you to the club again. I also want to let you know that your mugs have been packaged, labeled, and will be in the mail Tomorrow. Thanks for your input, and I do believe I will be attempting to tap into your knowledge of club growth. I have been mulling over a few marketing ideas, but really have done nothing with them yet. I'm sure we'll discuss some of these issues in the future.

P.S. Keep a positive attitude about life. I find it makes each day go by so much better! =y:
Welcome Rex. I lift my FTRC mug to you ;-).
I wish you victory in your battle and a V-1 in your driveway!

Congratulations are in order! =y:
First to Derwin, for giving us a virtual clubhouse to hang out in and for managing to attract 300 users! That number is bound to grow in leaps and bounds over the next few months...
Secondly, to Rex for finding us and being the 300th member...a great milestone!
And to US, for having another Venture One enthusiast aboard.
PS - Best of luck tackling that tumor. We're pullin' fer ya! ;)

Best of luck to you Rex on your health issues and Welcome Aboard!
Enjoy the ride. This is a great bunch of folks here. All are well informed and I have to say they are the most polite bunch I have ever had the pleasure to run across on the web.
Additionally, thanks for doing your part to get the next generation on the right path.
Very Best Regards,

Rexscates,
Your reputation as someone who boldy goes (I'm a closet trekkie, can't help myself) has spread to Europe and beyond, to the UK!
As someone who is fairly new here myself, I would also like to welcome you to the site and as the Chinese say "May you live in interersting times" or at least browse fascinating websites.

or just looked my name up? :)
little confused at your twos comments unless you already know me.
but yeah I am amazed that there is not more interest in this product.
we need to spread the word and let people know that vehicles like this can do what they say they will do.
The science is behind them. I am amazed that vehicles like this have not been out for years. the technology is not that advanced.
