Sure - it doesn't tilt, but it satisfies my requirement of getting at least 50 real world mpg. And the design isn't bad either so long as they don't pull what Chevy did with the Volt... The front end does remind me of a Star Wars Storm Trooper though...

Hey Baja Traveler..........the Kia looks very stylish and I could drive one if or when yet another concept vehicle hits the market. I have some interest in the Volt and am curious about your comment ...............what did Chevy pull with the Volt?

Must be the body design from concept to actual production model. The concept had more of a Camero muscle car look which I liked. Although, not a bad looking production vehicle which should have ample power to burn rubber beyond EV sport mode and adequate real world mpg. I would prefer the Tesla Sedan but out of my price range.

Yea - the volt concept was good looking with it's swept windshield and camaro race look. The production vehicle turned into cookie cutter boring sedan.

Saw my first Tesla this past weekend - I was leaving the bank and saw a beautiful British racing green sports car in the lot. I thought for sure it was a Lotus Elise, but on closer inspection, no - there was the Tesla badge... cool looking car, but I'm not sure my back could handle crawling into the thing. I swear you could drive that thing right under a semi trailer!

I'm getting to old for low to the ground roadsters, but the Tesla Sedan is looking to be more my style and a bit more practical with better ground clearance. I do appreciate the roadster's style.

Marketing focus groups probably found that consumers interested in the GM Volt were turned off by the muscle car design of the original concept and those that liked the design were turned of by the quiet low performance hybrid/electric drive. I liked the orignial concept too.
