Here's a fun way to help pass the time until our dream car actually exists...

Go here: http://www.acme.com/licensemaker/

and make a vanity plate that you would like on your V1.

You do know that in AZ you only have 5 characters (including spaces) to work with on a motorcycle plate. :o

JoeU
11-20-2007, 09:38 AM
And all plates have MC vertically on them. Maybe MCSLANT

AZEqualizer
11-20-2007, 12:58 PM
Vanity motorcycle plates in AZ don't have MC on them JoeU and they still restrict you to 5 characters including spaces.

Miracleman89
11-20-2007, 01:30 PM
Only 5 letters! Fine! How about this!

You might get picked up by the Border Patrol in AZ.

LMAO, I don't think they will believe I am smuggling in 20 mexicans in a V1! :D

WattGas?
11-20-2007, 07:50 PM
Dang! I just checked and Kansas limits motorcycles to 5 characters as well...

Does this work? Or maybe I should just think about getting all 7 letters airbrushed onto the sides...

I just went out and got my old AZ MC plate and it only has 4 characters on it. And, unless they use smaller characters, that's all the room there is. And one of them is a number.

WattGas?
11-20-2007, 08:17 PM
Well, that makes it more challenging...

Inspired by the video that AZE just posted:

Trust me - I have 3 AZ motorcycle vanity plates. They have 5 characters because the vanity plates drop the MC over one another. Matter of fact the ROKIT is one I own that will be on a bike I will sell when I get the V1 and move it to there.

Florida Motorcycle plates are limited to 6 characters and the specialty plate is Red, White and Blue with black lettering or you can go with the normal MC Plate in Florida. They also do not say Motorcycle or MC on them.

Techmeisters: OK, I went to Acme and made a cool plate. I saved it to my VV file in my
PC. How do I post it as an attachment so you all can see it? Specific, click by click instructions for the tech challenged, please.... I'll wager there are others like me out
there who's simple ignorance is getting in the way.
Thanks

I would list my preference here but by time VV lets those outside of California purchase (see how Aptera is doing it) one someone else might of grabbed mine for their regular motorcycle until then. :-(

I'm not sure how it is in Florida but I'm pretty sure in PA we can't get vanity motorcycle plates.

You might want to check in to it. The answer might make the whole thing a moot point except for the time wasting fun factor of this whole exercise. =y:

Mark, You can have up to 6 characters on a FL motorcycle specialty plate:

Florida is one of the most 'colorful' when it comes to plates. They are always looking for ways to make an 'Extra Buck'. Someone even suggested:
